Apple Of Your Eye

He does not withdraw his eyes from the righteous, but with kings on the throne He sets them forever, and they are exalted.
- Job 36:7 -

Life can sometimes be strange. Most of the time, after a busy day in church, I would feel satisfied. I would feel content because I'm serving God. But today i just feel tired. No surprise since I've been up since 7:30AM. Led worship for Sunday School, then led worship for 2nd Service. Played futsal at East Coast after lunch. Usually, I would feel as if I had achieved something. But today, despite some good testimonies, I feel drained. I think its because of futsal with Larry's friends and then walking all the way home from East Coast Park.

I am thankful that God doesn't come and go according to my emotions and how I feel. Because right now, I feel tired and empty. Our relationship with God or with other people should never be based on emotions. I couldn't feel further from God right now. Yet I know for a fact that He loves me despite my lousy mood.

I thank God that He showed me this verse from Job 36:7.
Father God... Thank You that I'm still the apple of your eye. Even when I feel ineffective, I know that I'm set with the King on the throne and I'm exalted together with You. I will not waver, I will not be diverted. I believe that you are proud of me and I choose to praise You. Amen!
